Luminaries at Fiddleheads

Light through a material is a whole category of its own. Lithophanes carry a picture in the thickness of the porcelain and only show it when lit. Mica glows warm amber because of how the mineral splits. Neither photographs particularly well, which is a shame, because lit in a dark hallway they are the pieces visitors always ask about.
