Albert County Clay Deep Dish PlateOne of a kind functional artwork! Beautiful deep dish plate with cobolt blue center glaze. Made of terra cotta clay that is hand harvested in Albert County, New Brunswick (Bay of Fundy) by the artist and her husband. The 3-D leaf design is created by pressing real leaves into a thin clay sheet, cutting them out, and than hand applying to the circumference of the plate. The dish is fully functional for food service (dishwasher and oven safe, freezer safe only if dry) and is also a heirloom quality decorative piece. Dimensions: 13 1/2 inch dia x 2 1/4 inch tall. Heavy 1/2 inch thickness. Signed on back by the artist. (Display easel not included.) Handmade in New Brunswick, Canada.
