Dragonfly Spoon Rest
In New England we have a warm place in our hearts for the dragonfly (not only because of its charm)--the dragonfly consumes an abundance of mosquitoes! Each unglazed dragonfly image is hand painted by applying liquid wax onto the unfinished pottery before it is fired. The wax image burns off in the firing and the unglazed dragonfly image remains. Spoon rest is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. Available in Blue Grass glaze only (left side of photo). Handmade, wheel-thrown stoneware made in Edgecomb, Maine, USA.
