	TRULY CANADIAN The Truly Canadian pattern is created by pressing real Maple leaves onto the sides of our pots while the clay is still soft. Each leaf has its own unique characteristics so no two pieces of pottery in the pattern are exactly the same. Before glazing each piece we hand paint a wax emulsion over the leaves to prevent glaze adhesion.  The contrast in colour between the clay and the glaze helps to further accentuate the natural veins of the leaves.
