Limited Edition Berkshire pendant doubles as a pin/brooch and is fashioned from copper cut from the roof of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Unitarian Meeting House Church in Madison, Wisconsin. These unique pieces are both 'Green' and historical.

A portion of all proceeds is donated to help house the homeless and foster hope for the future. In this act of giving we partake in a kind of social poetry whereby the removal and transformation of one roof serves to place a roof over the heads of people in need. I believe it is in this spirit of embracing both beauty and responsibility that an artist's work has the power to not only adorn and delight, but to be a catalyst for positive change in the world.
Pendent includes 18 inch sterling silver chain. Handcrafted of patinated copper and sterling silver in Wisconsin, USA.

Hand-Pierced Silver Dime Pendants

It all starts with a pre-1965 US dime. Prior to 1965, these US coin denominations had a high content of silver, which is now perfect for turning them into unique jewelry. First, the coins are carefully flattened. You will notice that the flattened coins are not perfectly round or oval. If you take a close look at your piece, you can sometimes still see the border of the original coin. The flattened coins are then "Hand-piereced" with a jewlers handsaw ... one coin at a time ... to create thes unique and precious masterpieces. Handcrafted pendants will vary slightly in size, shape and design as each is specially made for you by the artist! Supplied with sterling silver box chain.
